Booking Disclaimer
Important disclosures for all events at Trishul Ranch.
⚠️ Please read carefully. By booking an event at Trishul Ranch, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions.
1. Assumption of Risk
Trishul Ranch is situated on a rural property in the North Texas countryside. The venue includes outdoor spaces, natural terrain, paved and unpaved walkways, and areas with varying ground conditions. By entering the property, all guests assume the inherent risks associated with an outdoor and semi-outdoor event venue, including but not limited to uneven surfaces, natural wildlife, weather conditions, and outdoor lighting variations after dusk.
2. Weather & Outdoor Events
Our venue includes both indoor and outdoor event spaces. Outdoor ceremonies and receptions are subject to weather conditions. We recommend having an indoor backup plan for all outdoor events. Trishul Ranch is not liable for weather-related disruptions, cancellations, or guest discomfort due to temperature, precipitation, wind, or other natural conditions. We will work with you to transition to indoor spaces whenever possible.
3. Alcohol Service Liability
If alcohol is served at your event, you (the renter) assume full responsibility for:
- Ensuring all alcohol is served by TABC-licensed and insured bartenders.
- Preventing service to minors and visibly intoxicated guests.
- All incidents, injuries, or damages resulting from alcohol consumption by guests.
- Compliance with all Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code requirements.
We strongly recommend purchasing event liability insurance that includes host liquor liability coverage. Trishul Ranch reserves the right to shut down alcohol service at any time if safety concerns arise.
4. Property Damage & Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required for all events. The deposit covers damage to venue property, excessive cleaning requirements, and violations of venue policies. The renter is responsible for any damage caused by guests, vendors, or contractors during the event — including during setup and teardown — beyond the security deposit amount.
5. Vendor & Contractor Responsibility
All third-party vendors (caterers, DJs, decorators, photographers) must be approved by Trishul Ranch in advance. Vendors must carry their own liability insurance and comply with venue policies. The renter is responsible for communicating venue rules to all vendors and contractors. Trishul Ranch is not liable for vendor no-shows, performance issues, or disputes between renters and vendors.
6. Force Majeure
Trishul Ranch is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, power outages, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule your event at no additional charge, subject to availability.
7. Photography & Media
Trishul Ranch may photograph or video record events for marketing and promotional purposes unless the renter explicitly opts out in writing before the event date. We respect your privacy — if you prefer your event not be photographed for our marketing use, simply notify us and we will honor your request. Professional photographers hired by the renter retain their own rights to event photos; Trishul Ranch may request permission to share select photos with credit.
8. Guest Safety & Emergency Procedures
- A first aid kit and fire extinguishers are located on the premises. Staff will identify their locations during your walkthrough.
- In case of a medical emergency, call 911 immediately, then notify venue staff.
- Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times — the property includes unfenced areas, parking areas, and potential hazards.
- The renter must designate a point of contact for emergency coordination during the event and share this information with Trishul Ranch staff.
9. Indemnification
The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Trishul Ranch, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the renter's event, including but not limited to guest injuries, property damage, vendor disputes, and alcohol-related incidents — except when caused solely by Trishul Ranch's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Questions
